Vintage Military Handgun Match – 29 Nov in McComb, MS
At the SWGC, we are trying to keep bullseye pistol alive by holding a vintage military handgun match. We hope to increase participation in traditional outdoor pistol matches which are challenging and quite enjoyable. I hope to see you there.
We will allow most any handgun to be used in this match. Those without qualifying handguns will be put into a separate category. Shooters using target grade pistols will use NRA Outdoor Pistol Targets.

ALL SHOOTERS WILL CARRY THEIR HANDGUNS TO THE FIRING LINE IN A CASE. THE HANDGUN MUST BE POINTING DOWNRANGE WHEN THE CASE IS OPENED.

NOTE: Even if a shooter does not have a qualifying handgun, they are welcome to attend this event. They will be placed in a separate category. We do not want to exclude anyone from these events. You are also welcome to use a .22 RF pistol or revolver in this match. We have Ruger .22 RF 5.5″ target pistols available and .22 RF ammo available for members and first time shooters at $2.00 per box of 50 rounds.
NOTE: WE ASK ANY SHOOTER WHO HAS A QUALIFYING HANDGUN AND AMMUNITION, TO USE IT IN THIS MATCH IF POSSIBLE. WE ARE GETTING AWAY FROM THE SPIRIT OF THE VINTAGE MATCH IF WE HAVE A LOT OF SHOOTERS USING THE .22 RF EQUIPMENT WHEN THEY DON’T HAVE TO.
